Blue Origin has announced the crew for its next New Shepard NS-36 mission. Among the participants is Kazakh citizen Dana Karagusova, who will become one of the six passengers on the suborbital flight.
In addition to Karagusova, the crew includes: entrepreneur Jeff Elgin, engineer and researcher Dr. Clint Kelly III, serial entrepreneur and traveler Aaron Newman, Ukrainian businessman and investor Vitaliy Ostrovsky, as well as a sixth participant who wishes to remain anonymous until after the flight. For Clint Kelly, this will be his second experience—he flew on mission NS-22 in August 2022.
This will be the 15th crewed flight of the New Shepard spacecraft. Since its first launch in July 2021, Blue Origin has already carried 75 people beyond the Kármán line—at an altitude of more than 100 km—including five repeat customers.
New Shepard is a reusable suborbital vertical takeoff and landing vehicle designed for six passengers. The flight lasts about 10 minutes and includes several minutes of weightlessness.
The launch date for mission NS-36 has not yet been disclosed. The online broadcast will be available on the Blue Origin website, X, and YouTube 30 minutes before launch.
