Kazakhstan launches a digital headquarters for a unified data system
Author - Mansur Ismagulov
In Kazakhstan, at the direction of the Head of State, a digital headquarters has been established under the leadership of the Prime Minister. It includes key members of the government and the administration.
The new body will make decisions that are mandatory for all state bodies, akimats, and quasi-public sector organizations. The Center for Supporting the Digital Government has been designated as its working body.
The main task of the headquarters is to transition from individual digital projects to a unified data management system. This will improve the quality of public services, eliminate information duplication, make processes more transparent, and accelerate the country's digitalization.
The establishment of the headquarters will be an important step toward a "data-driven state" — a system where new digital products are launched faster, government agencies operate more efficiently, and services for citizens become more convenient.
