Kazakhstan and Serbia have agreed on cooperation in the space and IT sectors.

During the negotiations between the two countries, issues of cooperation in the field of space research and the application of space technologies in various sectors of the economy were discussed.

The parties signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Science of Serbia in the field of space activities. The document provides for cooperation in such areas as remote sensing of the Earth, satellite development, testing and application of space technologies.

A memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications of Serbia in the field of information and communication technologies was also signed. The document is aimed at the development of the IT sector and promoting the socio-economic development of the two countries.
