How a teenager from Almaty created one of the largest design agencies in Silicon Valley

From initial projects to industrial scale
Mark’s first steps in his profession were tied to the pandemic. At 14, he discovered Figma and began experimenting with design, gradually moving away from programming. His interest quickly turned into a professional career: freelancing, working with startups, and acquiring his first international clients.
Soon, Mark started publishing his projects on X. His work quickly gained popularity, and orders followed. It was there that he met his future partner, Abu Bakr Abu, with whom he founded the agency Skale.solutions.
Today, the agency has 20 employees and serves the largest technology companies: Bolt.new, Whop.com, Contra.com, Krea.ai, ClickUp, and other market leaders. Monthly revenue exceeds $60,000, allowing Skale.solutions to position itself as one of the most prominent design teams in Silicon Valley.
The agency’s key differentiators are speed, flexibility, and the ability to bring startups to the attention of the audience. The team combines attention to detail with rapid project launches and creates content that goes viral: promo videos garner hundreds of thousands of views, and websites make it to the top of discussions on X.

One of our most notable achievements was the project with Bolt.new. Just seven months after launching the studio, our designs appeared on billboards in the very center of the world — on Times Square in New York. For the client, this became a strong branding result and proof that their product and visual identity can compete on a global level.
Media presence and professional recognition
Before launching the agency, Mark also actively wrote on Medium, where his articles garnered over a million views and placed him in the top 250 authors worldwide. Later, he focused on X, which proved to be a strategically sound move: it was through this platform that he built his personal brand and client network.
Silicon Valley: a new growth point
In just two months in San Francisco, Mark’s business grew fourfold. Personal meetings, participation in industry events, and new partnerships allowed the agency to reach a new level.

Thanks to the agency, we managed to meet an incredible number of smart and interesting people, as Silicon Valley has the highest concentration of such individuals. People are the most important factor for success.
Plans
Today, Mark continues to strengthen Skale.solutions’ position and plans to expand the agency’s international presence.

We have set an ambitious goal — to become the largest design venture studio. To achieve this, we plan to take equity from each client and grow to the size of MetaLab.
