How IT professionals celebrate Digitalization Day

On November 10, Kazakhstan celebrated the Day of Digitalization and Information Technology Workers — a professional holiday established in 2022 by the relevant ministry. Since then, this day has become an important date for the entire IT industry of the country, which today employs more than 18,000 companies. The IT community celebrates the holiday in its own style — with energy, informality, and a focus on teamwork.

In Sergek Group, Digitalization Day has become a cherished tradition. This year was no exception. The company not only honored employees who were instrumental in the early days of Sergek but also hosted a cozy, vibrant meetup focused on internal experiences and growth. Currently, the group employs over 800 people, including 260 engineers and various IT specialists.

On the eve of the holiday, the “NIT” team participated in the Digital Drive corporate sports festival, spending an energetic and active day alongside colleagues from the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development and its subordinate organizations. The best participants were awarded, and the sports festival served as an excellent reminder that digitalization is, above all, about people, their interaction, and synergy.
