How It All Began
I have experience working at technology giants such as Tencent, Taobao, and Momenta. Azamat Khamidov, co-founder of Pointai and founder of TranslateMe, a service with over 150,000 active users.
We met during the AlchemistX accelerator in Palo Alto. Our diverse backgrounds complemented each other organically, creating a powerful synergy for product development. By combining our efforts, we were able to rapidly test hypotheses and implement effective solutions.
After securing initial sales and valuable feedback from clients, we created a platform for automating customer support. It allows companies to develop their own first-line AI assistant that not only answers user questions but also automatically resolves requests using intelligent algorithms.

Launching the Startup
Pointai is a platform for automating customer support that allows companies to create their own first-line AI assistant.
However, the capabilities of the AI assistant extend far beyond standard support. It not only processes inquiries promptly but also automatically resolves requests using intelligent algorithms, collects key data, and passes it to the team, helping to analyze complex cases faster and more accurately. This reduces the workload on employees, optimizes their working time, and allows them to focus on strategic tasks—improving customer experience and enhancing service quality.
Our product is not just an AI agent, but a full-fledged digital assistant that works 24/7 without breaks, analyzes data, helps identify gaps in communication, and strengthens relationships with clients.
Automation in Pointai goes beyond traditional support. Companies themselves determine what role the AI assistant will play in their business. The AI can not only optimize the return process or provide order status information but also guide users through the marketing funnel, helping them better understand the product and make a purchase decision.
On our website, anyone can test the capabilities of the AI assistant Pam Solve. It doesn't just answer questions; it introduces users to Pointai, demonstrating how automation can improve support efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
We are convinced that humans remain a key element in creating strong customer service. It is people who make interactions with the brand flexible, natural, and comfortable. Our goal is to help businesses build a smooth, seamless service where technologies enhance and complement processes rather than replace human involvement.
Automation is not just about reducing costs and speeding up work. It is a new level of customer experience that leads to increased trust, loyalty, and overall business growth.

Target Audience
Optimizing service processes is necessary for many companies for whom websites, mobile, and browser applications are key interaction points with users and primary conversion channels.
Automation is particularly relevant where support teams are overwhelmed with routine tasks that can be handed over to AI without compromising service quality. In such companies, the AI assistant becomes a full-fledged team member, taking on the processing of a large volume of requests and promptly resolving standard inquiries.
This problem is especially acute for startups that find it difficult to maintain a round-the-clock support service. In such cases, the AI assistant becomes a flexible and affordable solution, providing users with prompt 24/7 answers without the need to expand the staff.
Among our clients are e-commerce brands, mobile applications, B2B SaaS products, delivery services, and many others.
In each of these businesses, the AI assistant does not replace live communication but enhances support: it relieves operators while maintaining stable service quality even under increased load.
As a result, companies receive scalable support that reduces costs, increases service speed, and improves the customer experience.
One of our clients faced serious problems in customer support: the average response time reached 25 minutes, CSAT was 75%, and support costs exceeded $232,000.
After implementing Pointai, the results changed dramatically:
— CSAT increased by almost 25%, significantly improving customer satisfaction
— average response time decreased from 25 minutes to 2.1 seconds—more than 714 times faster
— savings on support amounted to over $150,000, allowing the company to reallocate resources for development and scaling.
These changes not only improved customer support metrics but also increased customer trust and loyalty, reduced the workload on operators, and provided the company with a competitive advantage through fast and high-quality service.
Incubation Programs
In 2022, Pointai was selected to participate in the Techstars Startup Weekend accelerator program, receiving support for developing its idea and entering the market.
The startup also became a participant in the second wave of the Plug and Play Uzbekistan accelerator program and attracted investment from the headquarters of Plug and Play Tech Center in Silicon Valley, confirming the startup's potential on a global level.
In March 2024, Pointai received investment from the venture fund DOMINO Ventures, which specializes in supporting promising technology startups.
Additionally, the startup was invested in by the venture fund AloqaVentures, supporting the development of Pointai in Central Asia and strengthening its position in the regional market.
In 2024, the Pointai startup was one of the participants in the AlchemistX Silicon Valley Residency program, which brings together promising startups with the best experts and investors from Silicon Valley. During the acceleration, participants attracted a total of $14 million in investments, gained access to mentoring and key technological resources.
Challenges
Like any startup, our path was not easy. We faced technical challenges in integrating AI algorithms, overcame market skepticism, and proved that automating customer support does not replace live communication but makes it even more effective. One of the key tasks was training the system so that it not only recognized requests but also processed them with high accuracy, understanding the nuances of each inquiry.
To those just starting their journey in the startup world, we want to say: do not be afraid of mistakes, seek feedback, experiment, and believe in your idea. Every challenge is not a barrier, but a growth point that makes you and your product stronger.
Achievements
In November 2024, at ProductHunt, we presented our AI product—the best support assistant, Pam.

Plans
Our plans for the near future are ambitious and aimed at the active development of Pointai. By the end of the year, we plan to significantly expand the platform's functionality by introducing new algorithms for even more accurate request processing. Additionally, we are working on integration with leading CRM systems, which will allow companies to use our product even more conveniently and efficiently.
We are also preparing for scaling: entering new markets, attracting strategic partners, and expanding the Pointai ecosystem. Our goal is to make the platform an indispensable tool for businesses that strive not just to automate support but to elevate customer service to a new level, ensuring high-quality service 24/7.
