About the Community
Camunda Chapter Central Asia is an open platform for everyone who works with the Camunda platform and is interested in BPM. Here you can share experience, ask questions, discuss approaches and solutions, and stay up to date with the latest updates from Camunda.
The community's journey began in 2022 with the founding of Camunda Chapter Almaty. Over time, interest in Camunda has grown not only in Kazakhstan but also beyond its borders — participants and clients from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan have joined.
Our goal is to foster a culture of process thinking and automation in the region. It is important to us to bring together specialists from various fields — from IT to the public sector — around the idea of conscious process management using modern tools such as Camunda.
Community objectives:
— creating a platform for sharing experience and knowledge
— increasing the level of expertise of participants
— popularizing BPMN and the process approach
— engaging new participants and young specialists
— developing professional dialogue between Central Asian countries.

Community Members
The creators of the community are the Reunico team, certified Camunda partners. Reunico helps companies design and automate processes based on Camunda and actively develops an expert community in Central Asian countries. Reunico's services include implementing Camunda 7 and 8, configuring process architecture, consulting, team training, and developing highload applications.
Today, Camunda Chapter Central Asia is an active Telegram chat where developers, analysts, architects, managers, and everyone who already works with Camunda or is just considering adopting it communicate.
Events for Community Members
We hold official offline and online events: webinars, workshops, meetups, and conferences taking place in various cities and countries.
In June 2024, a meetup took place in Almaty, bringing together IT experts from the banking, telecommunications, public, and retail sectors. In the fall of 2024, the community expanded — the next conference was held in Astana at the Astana Hub venue, and in April 2025, we organized the first meeting in Tashkent, gathering participants from the largest banks, FinTech companies, and integrators. Speakers included representatives from Reunico, Camunda, and partner companies who discussed real-world cases, migration from Camunda 7 to 8, architecture design, and other topics.

How the Community Helps with Development
We create an environment where everyone can ask a question, get help, share a case, or simply get inspired by others' experience. This works in several directions:
- Learning and knowledge sharing — real tasks, solutions, and tools are discussed in the chat and at events.
- Conferences and meetups — participants get access to live presentations, reports, and practical sessions.
- Direct contact with Camunda experts — the opportunity to receive support and an outside perspective.
- Networking and joint project opportunities — many start in the chat and continue with joint implementations, pilots, and initiatives to develop BPM culture within their companies.
Successful Projects
Freedom Telecom — a case of large-scale Camunda implementation in a telecom company from scratch. Our clients and partners who share their case studies at our conferences.
In 2024, we held a Camunda meetup in Almaty at the Almaty Management University venue. AlmaU acted as a partner, providing the venue and informational support, which helped attract a wide audience of IT and business specialists, as well as university students.
Representatives of Bank CenterCredit spoke at the meetup — they shared how they use Camunda to accelerate the development of banking products.

Plans
In 2025, Camunda Chapter Central Asia will continue active development:
— a meetup in Bishkek is scheduled for June 26
— preparation of new case studies and reports from participants in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan is underway
— release of video interviews and expert reviews is planned, with expansion of content on the official YouTube channel
— participation in international Camunda events, including CamundaCon and Camunda Local.
We believe that a strong professional community is the foundation for technology development in the region. Let's share experience, support colleagues, and develop a culture of open communication together. Join Camunda Chapter Central Asia.
