About themselves
Sanzhar. I am a business analyst. I have a degree in finance and a Master’s in Economics. Once a week, I play mini-football with friends and colleagues. I am a fan of my favorite club, FC Barcelona.
Dinara. I have been in the IT field since 2018. For the past year and a half, I have been on maternity leave and working remotely.
Sanzhar. My wife and I worked in the same department. Sometimes our work tasks overlapped. Over time, this interaction grew into something more, which I am immensely grateful for.
How they entered the IT field
Sanzhar. I have been working in the IT sector since 2017. I started as an online store manager, handling order processing, processing, and delivery. During this time, I learned how to work with a CRM system. In 2019, I moved to a large IT company. There, I learned about the nuances of system development, maintenance, and updates. I worked as a contact center dispatcher, answering calls, and recording user errors and issues with the information system. A year later, I transferred to the system maintenance and development department.
Dinara. My professional journey began in 2017 at a company specializing in telecommunications. Later, my sister recommended an organization focused on supporting user systems, which offered opportunities for growth and career advancement. Therefore, in 2018, I decided to change jobs and left my previous company.

Distribution of responsibilities
Sanzhar. Since my wife is on maternity leave, the main responsibility for daily chores falls on her. In my free time, I take the child for walks outside, allowing my wife to rest from household duties.
I help with cleaning and can bake desserts like cakes. Sharing household tasks is not difficult for us.
Dinara. We spend our free time differently: sometimes it’s outdoor walks or shopping trips, dinners out, visiting friends and relatives. We don’t have fixed household responsibilities. Each of us does what interests them more or what they do better.
Sanzhar. Family traditions are wonderful. We try to establish them. For us, maintaining connections with relatives and friends, and visiting each other, is essential. During the warmer months, we try to go out into nature. These outings energize us and allow us to enjoy the beauty of our country.
Recently, we have started supporting various environmental and animal protection foundations with small donations.
Dinara. As a young family, we are still developing our traditions. Here’s what we already have:
- Regular communication with relatives and loved ones.
- Charity in the form of donations to various specialized funds.
- Joint dinners with family and friends.

Balancing home life and work
Sanzhar. At home, we try to detach from work, leaving all issues and workload behind the door. Currently, work does not significantly complicate our home life.
Dinara. Most of my time is spent with the child and handling household matters. In the evenings and on weekends, I dedicate time to my work.
Recommendations for a happy family life
Sanzhar. There is a Kazakh proverb: “Getting married is easy, building a family is hard.” Hold on to each other and remember that you are one whole. Keep this thought in mind, and everything will work out.
Dinara. Support any initiatives of your partner. Be honest and show tolerance. I enjoy having heartfelt conversations with my spouse.
How IT families differ from others
Sanzhar. There are no major differences. We are average people. However, we can help each other solve work-related tasks and share experiences. When we encounter difficulties at work, we seek each other’s opinions and find solutions together.
Dinara. Thanks to our professions, we have more common topics for discussion. It’s always interesting to know how the workday went and what new solutions are being used at work. The difference in our family is that we develop together and keep up with modern technologies.
