About Us
Mokhinur. I am an operations manager at a European IT company, co-founder of an EventTech startup, and I also run my own career blog.
Diyor. I am a product owner for premium products at the largest FinTech company in Uzbekistan, and I also run my own retail blog.
Mokhinur. Our story began in Korea, where we both worked at an American IT company. However, there was no active communication between us. At some point, an article was published on weproject.media about successful careers of Uzbek professionals in Korea. After reading this article, we realized that we shared common interests, and that is how our story began. You could say that technology brought us together. We quickly understood that we had similar worldviews and a great passion for innovation.

How we entered the IT field
Mokhinur. We both always believed that technology has the power to change the world for the better. This idea became key in our professional paths.
I have a flexible schedule and remote work format, which gives me more freedom to balance my career, personal projects, and personal life.
Diyor. During university, I was already an active student and spoke at various events, including TEDx and international championships in startups and 3D printing. At that time, I realized that I was interested in IT and that I was good at it. After graduating from university, I joined one of the leading FinTech companies in South Korea, where I led business development in more than 15 countries. Later, I was invited to work at Visa to develop the Uzbek market, and currently, I am developing products at UZCARD. I have almost always worked in a "corporate" office setting.

Distribution of responsibilities
Diyor and Mokhinur. We adhere to the idea that household responsibilities should be distributed evenly. Home is a joint project, and its management should not fall on just one person.
Over time, as our projects increased, we didn't have time for household chores, so we decided to hire a helper for domestic tasks. This not only saves time but also allows us to focus more on our favorite activities and spend time together.
We spend our free time depending on our mood. Sometimes we rest "actively," going to the mountains; for example, we recently started snowboarding. Or we stay home and have a "lazy rest" by reading books or watching movies with pizza.
Family traditions
Diyor. One of our traditions is to travel at least twice a year. But for us, travel is not just about relaxation; it is an opportunity to explore the world and broaden our horizons. For example, even when we were in Bali, we were interested in how elections were held there and how startups were developing.
Additionally, we have strong family ties — we often gather with relatives, relax together, and support each other.

Combining home life and work
Mokhinur. When partners look in the same direction and share similar values, balancing career and personal life becomes natural.
We always support and engage with each other's interests. Interestingly, in our family, there is an unwritten rule: if one of us works in a stable corporate environment, the other can pursue more creative and risky projects. Over time, we switch roles, which helps us grow both professionally and personally. This creates a dynamic Power Couple.
Diyor. I try to always maintain Work-Life-Balance, achieving maximum productivity during work hours and dedicating my personal time to family, personal activities, and projects. At the same time, I believe that it is not possible to work aggressively and handle projects 24/7; sometimes you need to step away from everything and spend some time on lazy rest to prevent burnout. For example, I often relax by playing PlayStation or reading books.
Recommendations for a happy family life
Mokhinur. I see three important points:
1. Teamwork — we work together on projects, support each other's ideas, and help bring ideas to life.
2. Proper distribution of responsibilities — if both are working, it is important to delegate or share household tasks.
3. Trust and understanding — without them, it is difficult to build strong relationships.
Diyor. The most important thing is to find someone with similar interests and values, and if you find them, you need to trust and work harmoniously. For example, even at work, I regularly consult with my wife and listen to her opinion. At the same time, I think you shouldn't let relationships become "boring" or purely "domestic" on a constant basis. To avoid this, we regularly engage in new hobbies, extreme entertainment, dates, and, of course, travel.

How IT families differ from others
Mokhinur. I don't know if this can be called a unique feature, but working in IT teaches us to think 10-20 years ahead. We are not afraid of technological changes; on the contrary, we see opportunities in them.
We believe that technology does not take away jobs but simplifies life. And perhaps this is the main difference — we don't just live in the present; we constantly think about the future.
Diyor. Perhaps they differ in that these families are constantly on the move; they can simply start their own projects or use new technologies because we believe in the power of IT, which has the ability to change our lives and the lives of others.
