IT Park Ventures and White Hill Capital are launching a joint venture fund worth $2 million
A joint venture fund involving investors from Kazakhstan will be established in Uzbekistan. The corresponding agreement was signed on April 11, 2026, during a working visit by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The document was signed in Bukhara between IT Park Ventures and White Hill Capital. The parties agreed to create a joint investment fund with a target volume of up to $2 million.
The creation of the joint fund opens a new chapter in the development of venture cooperation between Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and the broader Central Eurasian region. The fund forms an institutional platform aimed at supporting promising technology companies and deepening practical investment interaction in the region.
The fund will focus on startups from Central Eurasia, founders from the regional diaspora creating global projects, as well as selected international founders whose companies can generate strategic value for the region through technology transfer, market expansion, talent development, and strengthening investment ties. It is expected that this will also enhance the depth and international quality of the regional startup pipeline.
In practical terms, the fund is expected to facilitate the attraction of long-term capital, stimulate the growth of foreign direct investment, and bring additional international investment expertise to the ecosystem. It will also expand opportunities for founders to raise funding, build strategic partnerships, and scale their businesses, while simultaneously strengthening the role of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Central Eurasia as one of the emerging centers of venture and innovation activity.
The joint fund is expected to contribute to attracting long-term private capital to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and the broader Central Eurasian region, as well as strengthen the region's ability to attract and effectively utilize foreign direct investment in rapidly growing technology companies.
It is also anticipated that the fund will improve the flow of startup projects, expand founders' access to institutional capital, and bring additional international investment experience, professional standards, and strategic connections to the ecosystem. The initiative also reflects the strategic attention and support of the governments and leaders of both countries in the development of innovation, investment, and the deepening of regional cooperation.
Broadly speaking, the fund aims to form a more globally integrated, institutionally mature, and investment-attractive venture ecosystem in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and the Central Eurasian region.
