In IT Park Uzbekistan, General Director Abdulkhad Kuchkarov held negotiations with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Uzbekistan, Aurélie Boucher. The parties discussed cooperation with French companies and startup ecosystems.
During the meeting, key areas of cooperation between France and Uzbekistan in the field of information and communication technologies were discussed. The management of IT Park Uzbekistan presented information about the organization's activities, current projects, as well as French companies that are residents of the organization. Cooperation with one of the largest European startup hubs, Station F, was also discussed.
Station F is the largest startup campus in Europe, located in Paris. It brings together more than a thousand startups, leading accelerators, venture funds, business angels, and major corporate partners. Global companies such as Facebook, Microsoft, Ubisoft, as well as leading French and international incubators, operate on the basis of Station F. Cooperation with this center will open up new opportunities for Uzbek startups—from participation in international acceleration programs to entering the European market and finding investments.
Special attention was paid to the development of initiatives to support women in ICT. In October 2024, a memorandum was signed with the French international organization Women in Tech. Under this agreement, initiatives are being implemented to enhance the professional skills of girls and women in the field of IT, as well as to assist them in finding employment in export-oriented companies and promoting their own startups in foreign markets.
In addition, cooperation between the countries is actively developing in other formats. In April 2025, IT Park Uzbekistan and the Franco-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding. In June 2025, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan participated in the largest European technology event—Viva Technology 2025. On June 17, with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France, the Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference was organized in Paris, becoming another platform for promoting the national IT potential and establishing direct contacts with French business.
