IT Park Uzbekistan and the Creative Industries Agency signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing the gaming sector and strengthening the GameDev ecosystem.
On behalf of IT Park, the document was signed by Director of Service Export Development Makhliao Muksinova, while on behalf of the Agency, it was signed by CEO Gulnara Agamova and Deputy CEO Alexander Bodrov, representing the ANO "Development of the Video Game Industry."
The parties agreed to develop joint initiatives in the field of GameDev, support the gaming ecosystem, and exchange experience in the area of creative industries. The Creative Industries Agency was established by the Moscow government in 2020 as a platform for supporting and developing creative businesses. Today, it oversees numerous areas, from video games and design to architecture and cinema.
The partnership with the Agency is strategically important for Uzbekistan, as it provides access to mature infrastructure and international expertise in the development of the gaming industry. It will create conditions for Uzbek developers and studios to participate in educational and industry initiatives, present projects, and expand competencies in game development, animation, and design.
Such cooperation strengthens Uzbekistan's position as an active player in the global gaming and creative sector, promotes knowledge exchange, attracts investment, and unlocks the potential of local talent.
