Throughout his career, Anuar founded two successful IT companies — MORRE and METAFORRA, made a significant contribution to the development of Web-3 technologies and GameFi — the integration of gaming mechanics with financial technologies. Anuar’s strategic approach, ability to see opportunities and implement advanced solutions have made him a leader in his field.

The Beginning of the Journey

Anuar was born in Almaty into the family of a researcher and an engineer. After graduating from the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum in 2003, Anuar enrolled in the Institute of Energy and Communications, where he studied radio engineering and communications. His professional career began at an international company, where Anuar was involved in managing IT systems and strategic planning.

Later, Anuar worked in the banking sector, automating business processes. In 2016, he moved to a startup related to online insurance, which allowed him to gain unique experience in scaling products and bringing them to market. These skills became the foundation for Anuar’s future projects in the field of technology and digital solutions.

Founding of MORRE

I realized that I could apply my programming knowledge in various fields. This experience gave me the confidence to organize my own projects.

In 2019, Anuar founded his first company — MORRE. Initially, the company focused on developing its own products, but soon expanded its activities, starting to work on third-party projects. Among the early achievements of the company under Anuar’s leadership were supporting a European cryptocurrency exchange, creating mobile applications, and participating in charitable initiatives, such as building wells in Africa.

One of the largest projects of Anuar and his company was Intebix — a cryptocurrency exchange adapted to the legislation of Kazakhstan. Its main feature was crypto cards that allowed combining a bank card with a cryptocurrency wallet. This unique solution for the Kazakhstani market allows users to easily convert digital assets into traditional money and use crypto cards for everyday purchases.

Also, with the support of Mastercard, the company MORRE implemented integration with the Mastercard Crypto Credential product, simplifying transfers between users. Instead of long and complex wallet addresses, users can use short nicknames, which significantly reduces the likelihood of errors and fraudulent transactions.

Additionally, MORRE successfully developed an application for the global charitable fund I AM PART OF, a global project registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

The main mission of the project is to serve society, helping and supporting those in need. Among the key areas of the fund’s work are: constructing solar-powered automatic wells, creating farms in remote areas of the world, and providing medical assistance.

Development of METAFORRA

In 2022, Anuar founded and headed METAFORRA, focused on Web-3 technologies. The company develops games and digital solutions.

When the idea to create METAFORRA arose, I asked the team: “Guys, do you want to make games?” They answered affirmatively. We decided to give it a try: we already had programming skills, and my wife helped with design at the initial stage. This was an important step for the entire team.

Thus, the company’s first mobile game was born — Laika! Moon Mission, which combined blockchain technologies, Anuar’s professional expertise, and video games. One of Anuar’s key areas of work became the development of this industry — GameFi.

According to Anuar, blockchain technologies allow combining gameplay with financial instruments, making games not only entertaining but also useful for improving financial literacy.

We promptly eliminated system vulnerabilities so that users could calmly enjoy the gameplay.

Inspired by the success, Anuar and his team began working on Emerald Merge — a Web-2 game based on the mechanics of Laika! Moon Mission, but without blockchain integration. The goal of the project is to attract users through high-quality gameplay mechanics and visual execution.

I have always aimed to create products of international standard. I am confident that Emerald Merge will be successful in the global market.

Collaboration with a major publisher, Madpixel, allowed testing the product, improving it, and moving to the stage of concluding a contract for its promotion.

To attract a wide audience, we decided to temporarily exclude the blockchain component, focusing on gameplay and design.

Looking to the Future

At the moment, Emerald Merge is almost complete and ready for a full launch. The plans of the company under Anuar’s leadership include developing new game mechanics, characters, and events, as well as creating new projects.
