Huawei FreeBuds 4i compared to AirPods Pro – an uncompromising choice?

Sales of the new Huawei FreeBuds 4i wireless headphones have begun in Kazakhstan. The headphones feature a powerful battery, active noise cancellation system, and a very affordable launch price – until May 16, new buyers can get the new model for just 29,990 tenge instead of 49,990 tenge.

They can be compared in terms of specifications with AirPods Pro, although the price difference between the two models is vast.

Design: Huawei FreeBuds 4i look very similar to AirPods Pro. Overall, the headphones retain the appearance of the flagship TWS headphones from the FreeBuds series. In Kazakhstan, they are available in two colors: black and white.

Sound: Both devices have a built-in active noise cancellation system that allows filtering out extraneous external sounds.

Battery life: Here is a pleasant surprise – FreeBuds 4i last twice as long as AirPods on a single charge. In standard music playback mode, Huawei FreeBuds 4i work for up to 10 hours, and with noise cancellation enabled – for up to 7.5 hours.

Despite the lower price, Huawei FreeBuds 4i headphones have a more modern standard

Bluetooth: 5.2 versus 5.0 in Apple headphones. This ensures minimal audio latency – 190ms. Huawei FreeBuds 4i work perfectly with both Android and iOS. Unlike AirPods, functionality, gesture control, and pairing speed are preserved across all platforms.
