Only this year, the list of export directions was replenished with 8 new countries. This indicates the entry of Uzbek IT companies into new markets, the expansion of their partnership ties with foreign clients, and the growth of the international competitiveness of domestic digital services.
In the distribution of exports by region, North America leads, accounting for 54% of the total volume. The share of CIS countries and other states amounted to 22%, the European Union and the United Kingdom — 16%, and the MENA region accounted for 8%.
Also, the number of resident companies with foreign capital participation in IT Park reached 1,095. Of these, 349 operate in regions outside Tashkent city. These indicators confirm the growing interest of foreign investors in the IT market of Uzbekistan and the creation of new opportunities for the development of modern technological business in the regions.
The growth in the number of exporters and companies with foreign capital participation is a practical result of consistent work to expand the scale of international IT services in the country, create new jobs, increase the export potential of regions, and transform Uzbekistan into one of the global centers of technological services.
