Gemini has learned to create children's fairy tales with illustrations and voiceover.

Google has introduced a new feature called Storybook in the Gemini service, which allows users to create personalized children's books in just a few minutes. The artificial intelligence generates its own plot, illustrates it in a chosen style such as comics, pixel art, claymation, and others, and also narrates the text in over 45 languages, including Russian.
The books consist of 10 illustrated pages with an audio track. Users can select an artistic style and upload their own images or even photos of a child to make them the main character of the story.
The feature leverages Gemini's multimodal capabilities: AI simultaneously processes text, images, and voice. As a result, users receive a ready-made "custom fairy tale" — ranging from classic stories to science-based narratives or family memories.
The service is available globally via the web version and mobile app of Gemini, but it can only be used by account holders aged 18 and older. Some features, such as additional voiceover languages, require a Gemini Advanced subscription.
The launch of Storybook reflects Google's strategy to develop personalized content and visual storytelling, where AI becomes a full-fledged co-author.
