Former Google Manager: AI Will Replace Not Only Workers But Also CEOs

Former Google X Chief Commercial Officer Mo Gawdat stated that artificial intelligence is capable of replacing not only workers but also company executives.

He emphasized that everything produced by the modern Western economy consists of words and designs. Therefore, AI will be able to reproduce these products as well.

Criticism of the "new jobs from AI" narrative

The industry has long promoted the idea that AI will replace some professions while creating new ones. Gawdat calls this notion "100% nonsense."

In his view, companies will not hesitate if given the opportunity to replace humans with machines, which will inevitably lead to massive job losses.

Startup Emma.love: an example of AI efficiency

After leaving Google, Gawdat launched his AI project, Emma.love. According to him, only three people worked on the application, whereas without AI, a team of 350 developers would have been required.

He is confident that in the future, artificial intelligence will surpass humans even at the CEO level. Incompetent executives will become a thing of the past.

Gawdat believes that society must abandon the capitalist idea of "life for work." Humans are not designed to work 20 hours a day.
