20,000 specialists, at the initiative of the Center for Information Technologies and Communication of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will be trained under the Tech Orda program, developed based on Astana Hub. The duration of training varies from six months to two years, and the first wave of IT specialists under this program will graduate by mid-2023.
The Tech Orda program covers all priority sectors managed by Astana Hub: web development, 3D design, software and hardware development, mobile app creation, Big Data, Blockchain, and more. Training is conducted in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
In 2021, the pilot stream of the Tech Orda program enrolled 100 students from across Kazakhstan, each receiving financial support amounting to 600,000 tenge.
Special attention was paid to supporting IT education in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan during the program's development. Based on the lists of selected students who received vouchers, agreements were signed between Astana Hub and the participating schools.
In total, this year the schools received approximately 16,000 applications from potential students. As a result, 3,068 students began their educational journey toward professional development in the IT field.
Any citizen of Kazakhstan aged 18 to 45, regardless of occupation or profession, can apply to study under the Tech Orda program.
