Biometric.Vision automated the identity verification of ENPF clients

Biometric.Vision, a participant of Astana Hub, has implemented an AI-based biometric identification and online verification system in the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund. The solution is already in industrial operation, making the process of user identity verification for the pension fund fast, convenient, and secure.

The Biometric.Vision system has fully automated the identity verification process for ENPF clients. Now, users only need a smartphone or computer to verify their identity online — without visiting an office, literally in a couple of clicks.

The technology combines three key tools:
— Liveness Detection determines that a real person is in front of the camera, not a photo or recording
— Document Recognition reads and verifies data from the identity document
— Face2Face Detection compares the selfie with the photo in the document, eliminating the possibility of substitution.

As a result, citizens receive a convenient and secure service, while the fund minimizes the risk of fraud.
