Azerbaijani startup FitFindAI has been valued at $1.6 million
Azerbaijani students studying at the University of Illinois Chicago and National Louis University have created a fashion-tech startup using artificial intelligence. The project, named FitFindAI, has already received a valuation of $1.6 million.
The founders — Ibrahim Jumshudlu, Ali Shukurov, and Aynur Shahmarov — are developing the product in the US, where it was selected for the gener8tor Accelerator program. The program supports promising startups by providing funding, mentorship, and access to investors.
FitFindAI is an AI-powered platform for clothing search. Users can find the items they need either through text queries or by uploading an image. The service analyzes the request and selects relevant offers from various brands, taking into account the user's geolocation.
Currently, the product is focused on the US market and shows the best performance within the country. However, the team plans to scale the solution to the global market, including Azerbaijan.
According to the founders, the main goal of the project is to simplify the online shopping process, save users' time, and offer a new approach to interacting with the fashion industry. In the future, FitFindAI could transform into a full-fledged e-commerce platform with the ability to purchase clothing directly through the service.
Currently, the team is negotiating with investors to accelerate product development, expand the user base, and strengthen its position in the international market.
It is worth noting that Ibrahim Jumshudlu and Aynur Shahmarov are both 19 years old — both study at the University of Illinois Chicago, while Ali Shukurov is a student at National Louis University.
