Digital Bridge-2022: Kazakh IT startups can win $18,000 at AstanaHubBattle

On September 29, at the venue of the Digital Bridge-2022 international forum, the annual AstanaHubBattle tech startup competition will take place. The best startups will receive monetary checks for the development of their IT products: $10,000 for 1st place, $5,000 for 2nd place, and $3,000 for 3rd place.

“Having conducted such a battle for several years now, we see the results. Winners from previous years have successfully developed on the domestic IT market and are already exporting their products abroad. Among them are startups Oquda, Parqour, UvU, KidSecurity, Abscrypt, and others. AstanaHubBattle has become a platform where real talents are identified—those who are resilient and know their goals. This is very important for any startup. We are ready to support them in reaching a new level of development,” noted Magzhan Madiev, General Director of the international technology park for IT startups AstanaHub.

To participate in the battle, startups must have a scalable project at the MVP or PMF stage, at least two key team members, and no more than two years of experience in the market.

The 20 most competitive projects that submitted applications will present a one-minute pitch in the semi-finals, and the top 10 startups will advance to the final, where the winners will be determined.

Applications are accepted until September 20 on the website digitalbridge.kz/battle2022ru/.

It is worth noting that the international forum Digital Bridge-2022 will take place on September 28–29 at the EXPO International Exhibition Center. The AstanaHubBattle, held as part of the Forum, aims to find new participants in the ecosystem, promote domestic startup culture, and develop technological entrepreneurship in the country.
