Astana Hub and Apple launch a program to train certified instructors in Kazakhstan
The development of human capital and the training of world-class specialists is one of Astana Hub's key priorities. In October 2023, we became the official representative of AATCe in Kazakhstan and began training students in iOS mobile app development. The next stage of partnership development is the launch of the Training of Trainers program, which will address the shortage of certified Apple trainers in the country. This marks the beginning of building a strong community of trainers who will serve as guides into the world of mobile development for thousands of young Kazakhstani people, turning local ideas into global products.
Astana Hub, together with Apple, is launching in Kazakhstan a program to train certified instructors for development on Apple platforms. The initiative is implemented on the basis of the Apple Authorised Training Centre for Education and aims to develop the educational infrastructure in the field of mobile development.
Training will take place in Astana at the international artificial intelligence center alem.ai. The Training of Trainers program is designed to prepare specialists who will be able to teach application development on Apple platforms and train new developers.
The selection of participants will take place in several stages: submission of applications, preliminary assessment of candidates, followed by an intensive on-site bootcamp. Training will begin in May 2026, with the key stage being a four-day intensive led by an international Apple trainer.
Candidates must have basic programming knowledge, understand development logic, possess English language skills at least at the Intermediate level, and be ready for intensive learning. The program is intended for those who plan to develop as trainers and educators in the field of iOS development.
As part of the course, participants will gain in-depth development skills: they will study the Swift language and work in Xcode, explore iOS application architecture, master interface creation using UIKit and SwiftUI, and become familiar with modern Apple frameworks, including ARKit and CoreML. Additionally, the program includes integration with web services and the development of a personal application. Special attention is paid to teaching methodology and the preparation of future trainers.
Upon completion of the bootcamp, participants will be able to apply for the status of Apple Certified Trainer, which grants the right to teach official company courses and train development according to Apple standards.

After training the instructors, Astana Hub plans to scale educational programs for students, schoolchildren, and beginner developers. The best graduates will be able to find employment and participate in the implementation of further educational initiatives.
The launch of the program is seen as an important step in the development of the national IT ecosystem and expanding opportunities for Kazakhstani citizens to acquire modern digital skills and mobile development expertise.
