Alexander Sotnikov has taken the helm of the national payment system HUMO

HUMO continues its strategic transformation aimed at developing the national payment infrastructure, implementing advanced technologies, and strengthening the company’s international position.

Aleksandr Sotnikov has been appointed Chairman of the Board of HUMO — an expert in payment technologies, digital banking, and national payment systems with over 25 years of professional experience.

Aleksandr  joined HUMO in May 2026 as First Deputy Chairman of the Board and has been directly involved in managing key areas of the company’s activities and implementing strategic initiatives.

Before joining HUMO, he headed the Banking Processing Center — the operator of the BELKART national payment system, held a senior leadership position at Belgazprombank, and worked at the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, contributing to the development of payment infrastructure and digital transformation of the financial sector.

Under Aleksandr Sotnikov’s leadership, HUMO will continue to implement its long-term strategy, including the development of digital payment infrastructure, expansion of international partnerships, implementation of innovative solutions, and creation of new opportunities for banks, businesses, and millions of users.
