Accelerator and Pitch Day: Competitions for Startups and IT Specialists from Central Asia

We have compiled a selection of events where you can participate and receive support for your project.

«Business Springboard» 

The «Business Springboard» project is aimed at supporting small businesses and stimulating the development of SMEs in Kazakhstan. The total prize fund is 24,000,000 tenge: 

— 1st place — 7,000,000 tenge 

— 2nd place — 5,000,000 tenge 

— 3rd place — 3,000,000 tenge. 

The winner in the «Social Business» nomination will receive 7,000,000 tenge, and a special prize of 2,000,000 tenge may be awarded to one of the finalists at the discretion of the jury.

Silkway Accelerator by Google for Startups and Astana Hub

Silkway Accelerator is a joint program by Google for Startups and Astana Hub. 

This program will take place in an offline format in Astana and is designed for startups at the Product Market Fit and Scale stages from Central Asian countries, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.

During the program, participants will receive assistance in creating effective business processes, scaling, networking with like-minded individuals, and preparing for investments in partnership with Google for Startups.

Kazrockets Aerospace Tournament 2023

From July 8-10, a large-scale event for space and aviation enthusiasts will take place in Astana — the Kazrockets Aerospace Tournament 2023. The competition will be held in several categories: 

— rocket modeling sports, classes: S3A and S6A

— aircraft modeling sports: glider flights close to the F1 class

— model carrier rockets

— space project activities

— aviation project activities. The winners of the competition will visit the city and station of «Baikonur» and will also be able to participate in the «Baikonur Cup» competition.
