Activat VC launched the AI agent Atlas for automating investment due diligence

Activat VC has introduced Atlas, an AI agent that automates investment due diligence, turning weeks of manual analysis into just a few hours. Now, investment decisions can be made in one to two days.
Atlas independently analyzes the entire startup documentation package and provides an assessment across five areas: market, product and technology, finances, legal compliance, and team.

Atlas generates two reports. For Activat VC’s investment committee, it provides detailed analytics, risks, strengths, and recommendations to support decision-making.
For the startup itself, it offers a comprehensive breakdown highlighting specific weaknesses and a plan to address them, which all applicants receive regardless of the outcome. While AI accelerates the analysis, the final decision remains with humans: the investment committee makes the final call after meeting personally with the founders.

More than 50 startups have already gone through Atlas. The result is a shortened due diligence cycle with full standardization of the approach: every project is evaluated using the same methodology, eliminating human bias and subjective preferences. Most startups that receive rejections from funds never learn why, and Activat VC aims to close this industry gap.
