This fall, 24 startups from Central Asia and other countries will head to Silicon Valley to participate in the international accelerator programs AlchemistX and Silicon Valley Residency, which begin on September 3 in Palo Alto. This will give the teams access to the U.S. venture sector, major technology corporations, and investors.
In 2025, 134 projects were selected out of 225 applications from 20 countries, with 24 teams advancing to the final. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are represented by 10 startups in the AlchemistX program, while another 14 teams from various countries will participate in Silicon Valley Residency. Among the participants from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in AlchemistX are Sales Doctor, Zaiyo AI, QazTWIN, DD Business, Aleem, One Health, Lydya, jobster.hr, SAT MAKON, and Growy Me. The Silicon Valley Residency program includes Ucode, Zbekwear, Tilmoch, StarMake, Cyberlabs, EasyBox, as well as projects from Qatar, the USA, Georgia, and Mongolia.
These programs are building a strategic bridge between Central Eurasia and Silicon Valley. In 2024, 22 startups earned $380,000 and attracted $1.4 million in investments over four months, demonstrating the high potential of the participants.
Over the course of four months, the teams will undergo full immersion in the Silicon Valley ecosystem: mentorship from venture partners, participation in industry events, sessions on entering the U.S. market, and a final Demo Day. Startups will receive support in registering their businesses in the U.S., securing initial contracts, and integrating into the international network of Silkroad Innovation Hub.
The initiative is implemented with the support of Astana Hub, IT Park Uzbekistan, Silkroad Innovation Hub, Alchemist Accelerator, the Ministry of Digital Development of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, and venture funds from both countries.
