Two startups from Kazakhstan have been included in the Wall of Champions at Draper University.
Tanat Uskenbayev, Managing Director of Astana Hub Hero Training, remains one of the key international programs of Astana Hub, providing startups in Central Eurasia with access to Silicon Valley expertise, international investors, and global markets. Over five cohorts, 47 technology companies have participated in the program, and the total amount of investments raised by graduates has exceeded $3.3 million. The program not only provides practical knowledge from leading entrepreneurs and investors but also offers a deeper immersion into Silicon Valley culture, helping participants understand the specifics of operating in one of the world's most advanced technology markets. This experience helps teams more quickly adapt their products for a global audience, find international partners, and develop scaling strategies.
Astana Hub has announced the results of the fifth cohort of the international acceleration program Hero Training, implemented in partnership with Draper University. The program is designed to prepare technology startups for entry into global markets, develop leadership skills among founders, and scale businesses in the United States.
This year, 61 applications were received for participation in the program. Following the selection process, an expert commission chose the six most promising projects, which underwent an intensive five-week acceleration at Draper University in San Mateo, Silicon Valley. The program participants included:
Pulsar — a DeepTech computer vision system that conducts a full technical audit of a vehicle in seconds.
ibirAi — an AI platform for continuous corporate learning with micro-lessons in messengers.
AR SANA — an AI platform for scaling pediatric speech therapy.
Beauty AI — an AI manager that turns data into profit using the "diagnosis – solution – result" principle.
VoiceClinic — a next-generation voice AI agent for clinics, specifically trained for live speech in multilingual countries.
Barion AI — a platform that transforms business data into personalized AI agents capable of performing employee tasks.
Kazakhstani projects VoiceClinic and AR SANA achieved particular success within the fifth cohort. The founders of these startups joined the winning team of the program, earning their names on the Wall of Champions at Draper University. This achievement grants the projects direct access to the global Draper Venture Network, spanning over 70 countries, the closed co-investment system DraperX, and the opportunity for priority interaction with venture funds within the Draper ecosystem.

Participation in Hero Training was an important stage in our development. Thanks to the opportunity provided and the infrastructural support from Astana Hub and Silkroad Innovation Hub, we were able to not only gain valuable knowledge and international validation but also bring a victory to Kazakhstan, solid American contacts, and direct access to one of the strongest venture ecosystems in the world. It is especially important to see the growing interest of international investors in startups from our region. All the experience and network of contacts gained will be used for the further qualitative growth of VoiceClinic and strengthening the positions of Kazakhstani technologies in the global market.
As part of the program, startups worked with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts from Silicon Valley, attended practical sessions on business development, fundraising, forming strategies for entering the US market, and building sustainable business models. Participants also had the opportunity to present their projects to the international investment community at the final Demo Day.
Hero Training is an international acceleration program founded by renowned American venture investor Tim Draper. The program is focused on startups with a ready product and potential for international scaling. During their participation, teams gain practical experience working within the Silicon Valley ecosystem, access to international mentoring, and tools for entering global markets.
