Regional digitalization forums were held in 10 cities of Kazakhstan, bringing together more than 3,000 participants. The events covered topics such as AI, cybersecurity, and startups, including presentations by Aitomaton and Amanbay Tech. The forums were organized by Astana Hub with the support of the Center for Information Technologies and Communication of the Republic of Kazakhstan and local authorities.
Regional forums on digitalization were held in the cities of Kazakhstan — Kostanay, Kokshetau, Taldykorgan, Uralsk, Taraz, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Semey, and Petropavl — bringing together more than 3,000 participants. These events became a key platform for sharing experience, discussing modern trends, and supporting digital transformation processes in the regions.
At the forums, participants actively discussed key topics such as digitalization, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, big data, and the application of technologies in government structures. The Startup Alley attracted particular interest, where young companies showcased their innovative projects, established contacts with potential investors, and received valuable advice from mentors. Among the highlights were the Kostanay startup Aitomaton, specializing in automating business processes and implementing AI solutions in agrotechnology, and the Shymkent-based Amanbay Tech, which launched an internship program for young people.
The forums featured exhibitions of IT schools, workshops on game development, artificial intelligence, and mobile photography. Participants also witnessed the signing of memorandums, finals of hackathons and startup battles, as well as a ceremonial awards ceremony. Leading representatives of the IT industry and partners actively supporting innovation were also recognized.
One of the bright moments was the example of Roman Lineitsev, founder of the popular mobile game Grand Mobile, who spoke at the forum in his hometown of Ust-Kamenogorsk. Inspired by the atmosphere of the forum and his hometown, Roman doubled the prize fund of the hackathon at Oskemen Hub, making a personal contribution to the development of the regional ecosystem.
The regional forums attracted attention not only from local developers but also from major technology companies and leading IT specialists. Representatives of global companies visited regional centers to share experience, conduct training sessions, workshops, and offer grant programs.
The regional IT forums Digital Aqmola, Jaiq Digital Day, IT Innovation Fest Oskemen Hub, Digital Abai IT Forum, FinAI Forum Zhambyl Hub, Shymkent IT Hub — Platform of Opportunities, Qostanai Digital Day, DevFest Taldykorgan, Digital Kyzylorda Forum, SKO Hub were organized at the initiative of Astana Hub with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local akimats, and private partners.
