Kazakhstani users have increasingly turned to Yandex Search for information online: over the past year, the number of queries to the service has grown by 10%. The number of clicks from Search to other websites has also increased by 10%. These findings were made by analysts at Yandex Qazaqstan after studying aggregated anonymized user queries on the service.

The share of Search in terms of the number of queries in Kazakhstan has exceeded 25% compared to other search services available in the country. Every day, Kazakhstani users submit up to 9 million queries to Search, with up to a third of them in the Kazakh language.

Using neural networks, the service provides answers to approximately two million queries daily, including those in the Kazakh language. Moreover, the share of queries in this language is growing the fastest.

Kazakhstani users are not only increasingly using the service to search for information but also clicking through to various websites. According to aggregated anonymized data from Yandex.Metrica, the number of such clicks increased by 10% over the year.
