The Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic registered JSC "Alma Finance Bank" on July 30, 2025. The financial and credit institution was established in the form of a closed joint-stock company with the participation of foreign investors, according to the Ministry of Justice's electronic database.
Wang Xin is listed as the head of the bank. The bank's founders include six participants, three of whom are Chinese citizens: Wang Quangan, Kang Jianlin, and Liu Wenzhong. The latter is also among the founders of two companies — OOOO "Baden Service" and OOOO "Kyrgyz Temir Group," which are also co-owners of the bank. Among the legal entity founders is JSC MFC "Alma Credit," registered at the same legal address as the newly established bank.
The registration of the bank is the first step toward forming a full-fledged financial institution in the Kyrgyz Republic. The next stage for the new institution will be obtaining a banking license from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As of June 30, 2025, there were 21 commercial banks and 304 branches operating in the country.
