As part of the Female Founders Forum Dushanbe, a Central Asian women angel investors club was established. The initiative brings together four countries in the region and aims to educate women in investing, support startups, and foster women's entrepreneurship.
Sohiba Mukhitdinova, an Oxford University graduate, venture investor, and angel investor from the United States with experience in European and American venture ecosystems, has joined the project.
The development of the club in the region's countries will be led by:
— Kazakhstan — Aziza Shuzheeva
— Tajikistan — Zaytuna Saidullaeva, Gulnora Mukhammadiyeva
— Kyrgyzstan — Aiperi Kosymbekova
— Uzbekistan — Alena Nasyrova.
The club's goal is to help women not only attract investments to their own projects but also become investors themselves and support promising startups in the region.
