The largest open AI forum in the region — KIT Forum 2026 — will take place in Bishkek.
June 4–5, 2026, Bishkek will host KIT Forum 2026 — the largest open regional forum in the field of artificial intelligence, technology, and the digital economy. The event will take place at the Kyrgyz International University (KIU) campus and will bring together over 3,000 participants: business representatives, IT companies, startups, investors, government agencies, and international experts.
About the Forum
KIT Forum is one of the largest events in the field of information technology and digital innovation in the Kyrgyz Republic, held annually since 2010.
Each year, the forum gathers over 2,500 participants from different countries around the world, including representatives of business, government bodies, international organizations, the IT community, experts, educational institutions, and students. In 2026, KIT Forum is organized by the High Technologies Park of the Kyrgyz Republic in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Main Theme of KIT Forum 2026
The main theme of the forum this year is AI for All: Democratizing Artificial Intelligence. The forum will serve as an open platform for discussing how artificial intelligence is transforming the economy, business, and state infrastructure, as well as who will shape the rules of the new technological era.
Today, AI has ceased to be just a technology or a standalone product. Artificial intelligence is becoming a new infrastructure — comparable in significance to the internet or electricity. At KIT Forum 2026, participants will discuss key industry issues:
— development of open-source AI models and competition with closed ecosystems of major tech companies
— AI sovereignty and the ability of countries to create their own technologies and infrastructure
— development of data centers, computing power, and access to data
— impact of AI on business, markets, and corporate competitiveness.
Forum Program
The first day of the forum will be dedicated to artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and the future of the global AI economy. The central discussion will focus on technology accessibility, the development of AI infrastructure, and the role of regional countries in the new global technological architecture.
The second day of KIT Forum 2026 will focus on startups, investments, and scaling technological projects. Participants will discuss:
— how startups are built and developed in the region
— how venture investments work
— which projects interest investors
— how companies establish cooperation with startups
— strategies for scaling and entering international markets.
One of the key events of the second day will be the Startup Battle — a platform where startups will present their projects to investors, businesses, and international experts.
As part of the forum, the KIT EXPO exhibition zone will also take place — a space for presenting technological solutions, products, and services. EXPO will serve as a platform for direct interaction between companies and potential clients, partners, and investors. Participants will have access to ready-made turnkey booths, allowing them to focus on communication and business networking.
Additionally, the KIT Awards 2026 ceremony will be held as part of the forum, aimed at supporting companies and projects that implement digital technologies and AI solutions in business processes.
The award includes the following nominations:
— “Best Digital Bank”
— “Best Coworking Space”
— “Best IT Educational Project”
— “AI Adoption — Best Implementation of AI in Business Processes”.
KIT Awards 2026 recognizes real cases of digital transformation and technology implementation with measurable results.
