The first next-generation artificial intelligence factory has opened in Armenia.
Eleveight AI has launched the country's first next-generation artificial intelligence center in the city of Gagarin, in the Gegharkunik region. The facility has become Armenia's first AI factory of this scale and is equipped with NVIDIA Blackwell B300 graphics processing units.
The center's opening ceremony was attended by Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Armenia's Minister of High-Tech Industry. The new complex is designed to perform large-scale computations in the field of artificial intelligence, including model training and applications in business, science, and engineering.
In the first phase, 512 graphics processing units have been deployed at the center, with a current power capacity of approximately 1.2 megawatts. Plans are in place to eventually increase this to five megawatts, and later to 35 megawatts, significantly expanding computational capabilities and transforming the facility into a regional hub for AI infrastructure.
The total investment in the project amounts to $120 million.

Computational power is becoming strategic infrastructure in the age of artificial intelligence. Armenia must not only keep pace with these changes but also actively participate in shaping them. Eleveight AI was established to build world-class infrastructure and strengthen the country's position on the global technological map.
The infrastructure is built according to NVIDIA Reference Architecture standards, enabling international companies and research groups to deploy their AI projects without additional technical adaptation.
The project also implements an eco-friendly model with zero chemical footprint. Thanks to Gagarin's climate conditions and engineering solutions, the system utilizes natural cooling for most of the year and relies on its own solar power plants.
As part of the initiative, 20% of the center's computational capacity has been allocated to Armenian universities, scientific organizations, and non-profit projects to support research and the development of local specialists.
