Uzbekistan and Poland are expanding cooperation in the field of IT services and outsourcing.
The IT Park Uzbekistan delegation visited Poland with a busy business agenda: it organized the Uzbekistan Global Scale & Outsourcing Conference in Warsaw and participated in the “Uzbekistan – Poland” Partnership Forum in Gdansk. Both events brought together businesses, investors, and international companies interested in outsourcing and digital cooperation.
On June 12, the Partnership Forum took place in Gdansk, opened by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland, Amirsaid Agzamhodjaev. He spoke about the country’s economic reforms and investment opportunities. IT Park Uzbekistan presented Uzbekistan as a promising direction for IT business and outsourcing in Central Asia. Separate negotiations were held with Grid Dynamics and Unified Analytics AS regarding possible expansion through the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem.
On June 16, the Uzbekistan Global Scale & Outsourcing Conference was held, bringing together more than 80 participants from over 70 companies, including Groupe Berto, Raya CX, MicroStrategy, Nutanix, and Grafton Recruitment. Sarvar Vokhidov, Head of the IT Outsourcing Division, presented the country’s personnel, demographic, and economic potential, as well as the key advantages of the ecosystem: tax benefits for IT companies until 2040, access to qualified specialists, and the Zero Risk program. It was also noted that residents of IT Park Uzbekistan can be not only IT companies but also organizations in the fields of BPO, HR, customer service, and financial outsourcing.
Practical experience was shared by representatives of Sigma Software Group, Antal Poland, and Innowise Group. As a result of the conference, IT Park Uzbekistan conducted B2B meetings with several companies: in particular, Raya CX confirmed its plans to visit the Global Business Services Forum to study in detail the prospects of presence in the region.
