Tajikistan is expanding cooperation with Chinese IT companies

As part of the Tajik-China Digital Business Connect forum, the Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of Tajikistan held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of Chinese technology companies and international digital platforms. The parties discussed expanding cooperation in the fields of digital transformation, innovation, and technological development.

In particular, during a meeting with Yang Yong, Chairman of Guoxing Network Co., projects in the field of industrial internet, 5G implementation, artificial intelligence, and IoT were discussed, as well as the training of IT specialists and the launch of pilot projects within the framework of the Digital Silk Road initiative.

A meeting also took place with Bruce Cheng, a representative of ByteDance, where the development of the innovation ecosystem, support for startups, digital content, personnel training, and exchange of experience in the field of digital transformation were discussed.

Furthermore, representatives of the Agency held negotiations with Huawei on issues related to the digital transformation of the public sector, digital infrastructure, e-government, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the training of IT specialists.

Finally, the parties discussed with Zhonghe Silk Road Digital Technology joint projects in the areas of Smart City, digital economy, innovative technologies, and digital infrastructure, as well as strengthening technological partnership between Tajikistan and China within the framework of the Digital Silk Road initiative.
