Global Startup Awards is the largest independent startup award platform, covering more than 154 countries. Founded in 2012 in Copenhagen, GSA identifies and recognizes leading players in ecosystems — from startups to investors, accelerators, and incubators. Flagship projects include Nordic Startup Awards, Central European Startup Awards, ASEAN Startup Awards, and GSA Africa. GSA serves as a platform for attracting talent and capital, and strengthening international relations. 16 unicorn startups have participated in GSA.
Operational management of GSA is carried out through X.O. Group, a division that implements acceleration programs, develops ecosystem development strategies, and collaborates with government agencies in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the MENA region.
