OpenSpot, an AI-powered parking management platform, has raised $100,000 from Sarmo Ventures. The company is transforming parking infrastructure from a passive asset into a managed revenue stream. OpenSpot is a participant in the first cohort of the Investment Readiness Accelerator program by MOST C-Space Hub and SQB Ventures, supported by UNDP.
Today, up to 20-30% of parking spaces are used by non-target users, which directly impacts revenue loss and reduces service quality. OpenSpot addresses this issue using AI, IoT, and real-time analytics. Additionally, the platform enhances the user experience: drivers can find and reserve parking spots in advance, reducing search time.
Currently, the startup demonstrates solid traction:
— approximately $500K ARR
— pilots and implementations in several countries, including Central Asia, the US, and Mongolia
— confirmed demand from B2B clients.
Previously, the company had already raised $170,000 from an American venture fund. The project's valuation is around $6 million.
The raised funds will be directed toward scaling in Central Asia and the US, with the goal of growing to $3 million ARR next year and preparing for a Seed round.

OpenSpot is an example of a startup that solves a specific infrastructure problem with a clear economic model for its clients. Within the IRA Tashkent program, the team demonstrated a high level of investment readiness: a clear focus on the B2B segment, confirmed traction, and potential for scaling into international markets. Such projects are shaping a new quality of technological solutions in the region.
