SpaceXAI launched Grok Bot — AI agents with their own cloud-based computer
SpaceXAI launched Grok Bot, a product the company describes as AI agents that work continuously and complete tasks in full. Initially, Grok Bot was created as an internal prototype: teams used it for outbound sales, marketing campaigns, office operations, and bug fixing.
Each bot receives a separate computing environment in the cloud, so tasks continue to run even when the user is away from their computer. Bots log into applications, tools, and websites, including platforms without API or MCP integration, and return to the user only when confirmation or a decision is required.
Such scenarios are already in use within the company: a sales bot logs notes from call transcripts into the CRM and prepares emails for follow-up contacts; an operations bot handles onboarding for new employees and processes invoices from Gmail; and an engineering bot reproduces a bug in the product interface, creates a ticket, and passes the fix to another bot.
You can start a bot on a phone or desktop and continue the same conversation on another device. No preliminary setup of scenarios or automations is required — you simply assign a task via a message.
An alternative way to train a bot is to demonstrate the process yourself. The agent records the sequence of actions, saves it as a routine, accounts for user edits, and then performs the same multi-step task independently next time. Grok Bot supports parallel operation of multiple specialized agents — handling incoming messages, expenses, recruiting, bug fixing, and operational tasks. Bots communicate directly with each other and share context in threads, while in the main chat they distribute work among themselves and involve the user only in decisions requiring their evaluation.
The product is in beta and is available to subscribers of SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium on desktop and iOS. Corporate users can join the waitlist.
