As a result of 2025, Kcell was recognized as the operator with the fastest internet in Kazakhstan.
The SpeedGeo platform, specializing in internet connection quality analysis, has presented the results of its annual study of the telecommunications market in Kazakhstan. The rating was formed based on user measurements of mobile internet speed.
According to the 2025 SpeedGeo report, Kcell became the leader in average download speed. In the company's network, the download speed reached 61.1 Mbps, allowing it to take first place among Kazakhstani mobile operators.

Research Methodology
The study is based on crowdsourced data from the SpeedGeo platform, which collects speed measurements gathered through a mobile application. Unlike laboratory tests, such measurements reflect real user experience — speed is recorded in places familiar to subscribers, such as at home or at work.
As part of the analysis of mobile internet in Kazakhstan, 59,214 tests were performed from smartphones and tablets. To assess the quality of wired internet, 111,807 measurements were conducted via Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections. The main criterion for ranking operators was the average data download speed.
The SpeedGeo methodology provides an understanding of the actual internet usage by subscribers, but it has certain features. Results may be influenced by the technical parameters of users' devices, the state of the home network, as well as local congestion of communication channels.
Furthermore, the volume of SpeedGeo's sample is inferior to that of the largest international platforms, which analyze hundreds of thousands and millions of measurements. Therefore, the published data should be considered as the results of a crowdsourced study reflecting user experience, rather than as a universal and exhaustive rating of the entire market.
