Plug and Play Uzbekistan Expo 2026 will present more than 30 global startups in the field of AI and creative technologies

On May 6, 2026, the Plug and Play Uzbekistan Expo will take place at the Turkestan Palace of Arts. The event, organized by the world-leading venture fund and accelerator Plug and Play in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park Uzbekistan, will feature more than 30 startups from Central Asia, the Caucasus, the United States, and Europe that have completed the Plug and Play acceleration program.

Expo 2026 is the region's premier innovation platform, bringing together government officials, top corporate executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and experts to discuss trends in artificial intelligence, financial technology, cybersecurity, and the creative economy.

Since 2023, Silicon Valley-headquartered Plug and Play has been working with partners to develop the regional ecosystem, aiming to transform Uzbekistan into a key international hub for innovation. The 12-week acceleration programs provide selected startups with access to a global network of mentors, corporations, and investors. This exhibition will be an important milestone in this journey, showcasing the achievements of participants from the fifth and sixth cohorts.

The agenda focuses on active engagement, knowledge sharing, and networking:

— Investor meetings. A closed morning session for investors and startups in the format of speed pitches.

— Main program. Expert presentations, panel discussions, and pitches from the fifth and sixth cohorts.

— Expo. A special exhibition area for networking with founders.

— Networking. A final session to solidify new partnerships.

Speakers include international experts in AI and business innovation from companies such as ohler.coach, EQQO.AI, PortuGer Workforce Solutions, and many others, as well as leaders from Plug and Play Tech Center, IT Park Uzbekistan, and the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Participating startups and project areas:

Cohort 5, 14 startups: Artificial intelligence for business, financial technology, health tech, cybersecurity, proptech, clean tech, edtech, and e-commerce.

Cohort 6, 18 startups: Game development and entertainment industry, edtech, fashion tech, digital platforms, content creation and artificial intelligence, adtech, and digital out-of-home advertising.
