Yandex Drops are integrated with Alice AI and the "My Memory" feature for voice-activated note-taking and reminders. The headphones feature a 11-mm driver, IP54 noise cancellation, and can operate for up to 8 hours without recharging. Starting from June 16, the device will be available in stores for 54,990 tenge.
Yandex Drops allow you to interact with Alice AI—a powerful, versatile neural network capable of solving any task—on the go. Yandex Drops users will be able to ask the neural network questions by voice at any time and will be among the first to gain access to Alice AI’s new “My Memory” feature. With it, you can save your thoughts, plans, and ideas, and the neural network will convert them into structured notes and reminders. Drops owners can use “My Memory” not only through headphones but also in the Alice AI chat, on Yandex Stations, and on TV Stations in Russian.
Advanced AI Model
Yandex Drops feature Yandex’s most powerful language model—Alice AI. It was trained on millions of tasks that people solve daily using various neural networks, assistants, Search, and other Yandex services. Since October last year, the neural network has been available at alice.yandex.ru and in the Alice AI app, and now it is also available in Yandex Drops. In the Alice AI app chat, it provides detailed information, while in headphones, it offers more concise answers for easier listening. This allows users to receive the neural network’s responses without looking at their phone or laptop.
For example, while shopping, you can ask Alice AI what E440 is in the ingredients of a yogurt, or before leaving work, ask what the evening weather will be like in Almaty. A conversation started in headphones can be continued in the chat—it will be saved in the “Drops Headphones” section.
“My Memory”: Helps Save and Quickly Find Important Information
Yandex Drops owners will be the first to get access to Alice AI’s “My Memory” feature, which will act as an “external memory.” With it, you can dictate to Alice AI on the go everything you don’t want to forget: for example, what to gift a friend, what you agreed on with a colleague, or what questions to ask your doctor. Alice AI will turn this information into structured lists and notes that you can return to at any time. For instance, it will remind you when your car insurance expires and when you need to pay utility bills. The neural network will also timely remind you of important matters—via headphones, phone notifications, a Station, or a TV Station. You no longer need to keep everything in your head or search for which app or messenger saved the information.

“My Memory” will be available to Yandex Drops owners in headphones and in the Alice AI app on computers and smartphones, as well as on smart speakers and TV Stations in Russian. You can search, delete, add, and edit notes manually or by voice. For example, you can ask: “Alice, when do I need to bring the craft project to kindergarten?” “Alice, what did I want to tell my friend?” or say “Alice, remove the swimsuit from my travel packing list.”

Music, Calls, and Voice Control—Just Like on Stations
Yandex Drops function as full-fledged headphones with high-quality sound, noise cancellation, and voice control for calls, music, and smart home devices. For example, you can ask Alice AI on the go to play your favorite playlist, start your vacuum cleaner at home, or dial a friend’s or clinic’s number—the neural network will find the number in your contacts or on the internet. The headphones understand quick commands. You can simply say “Lower,” “Stop,” “Continue,” “Decline,” or use another quick command. They work even without an internet connection, as the NPU processor handles them directly on the device. The algorithm is trained so that the headphones hear commands even in noisy environments.
An 11-millimeter audio driver ensures sound quality in the headphones. For those who want to customize the sound themselves, there is an equalizer with various settings. The headphones offer three noise cancellation modes: standard, adaptive, and transparency mode. Noise cancellation works not only in the speakers but also in the microphones—during calls.
The headphones are available in white, black, and purple colors and feature a touch sensor. Users can control calls, playback, and noise cancellation with a tap, and adjust volume with a swipe. Yandex Drops are protected against dust and moisture to IP54 standards and are suitable for sports. With noise cancellation and Alice AI activation, they work for up to five hours on a single charge, and up to eight hours if these features are turned off.
Yandex Drops must be connected to the Alice AI app. To ensure the neural network responds instantly to questions, make sure the app is running in the background.
Starting June 16, Yandex Drops will be available in “Technodom,” “Mechta,” and Sulpak stores, as well as in the official Alice store, for 54,990 tenge. More details about the device can be found on the website, available in Kazakh and Russian.
