Applications are now open for the GoAbroad 2026 program for startups in Central Asia
The Sustainable Innovation and Technology Foundation announced the start of applications for the GoAbroad 2026 program, which helps startups from Central Asia prepare for entering the US market. This year, the program focuses primarily on DeepTech projects, but any startups at the MVP stage or beyond interested in scaling to the American market can apply.
Applications are accepted until August 5, 2026, and selection results will be announced by August 12.
The program consists of two stages. The first is an online bootcamp focused on analyzing the US market, working with American investors, legal issues, research and development, intellectual property protection, pitch preparation, and individual mentoring.
The second stage will take place from October 5 to 15 in Silicon Valley. Participants will attend workshops on sales in the US, fundraising, the DeepTech ecosystem, and American accelerators, visit laboratories, meet with representatives of the technology ecosystem, and participate in the TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 conference.
Startups from Central Asia at the MVP stage or above, researchers planning to launch a technology project in the US, and entrepreneurs with experience of a successful exit who intend to create a new startup in the American market can apply. The working language of the program is English.
SITF covers participation in the online and offline program and provides one ticket to TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 for each team. Participants are responsible for covering visa fees, flights, accommodation, and personal expenses. However, organizers provide an invitation letter to support the visa application process, though its approval is not guaranteed.
The program is implemented with the support of NU Impact Foundation, Silkroad Innovation Hub, and NUSTeP.
