Freedom IT-Hub reflects the parties’ commitment to the development of digital technologies, human capital, and an innovative environment. Our key goal is to promote the sustainable development of Tajikistan’s economy and technology sector. We are pleased that events already held at the hub contribute to the formation of engaged professional communities.
The creation of the hub continued the agreements reached within the framework of the Treaty on Allied Relations between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan dated August 22, 2024, as well as the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Agency for Innovations and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Freedom IT Hub was opened in 2024 on the basis of a structural subdivision of CJSC “Freedom Bank Tajikistan” under the patronage of the Autonomous Cluster Fund “Astana Hub.” The initiative is aimed at developing digital competencies, supporting technological entrepreneurship, and creating a sustainable environment for training IT specialists. The hub brings together students, experts, and entrepreneurs, providing infrastructure, educational programs, and opportunities for professional growth.
The Memorandum of Understanding signed during the visit of international guests provides for support of the intellectual development of youth, their engagement in innovative processes, and the implementation of joint educational and entrepreneurial projects using the potential of both sides.
Since 2025, Freedom IT Hub has operated in technical mode, and since autumn 2025, it has begun full-scale operations. During this time, more than 80 events have been held for 2,000 participants, including IT workshops, educational programs, and startup pitchings. Among the key initiatives are a six-month AI Bootcamp, a hackathon on data analytics, participation of the national team in the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics, and the regional stage of ICPC Tajikistan 2025.
