Gizmo is an AI app that allows users to create and share interactive content, such as mini-games or mini-apps.
Users describe their ideas using text prompts, and Gizmo generates interactive objects that respond to touch. For example, you can create an animated snail that you can move around the screen with your finger, leaving a rainbow trail behind it.
Inside the app, there is a TikTok-style feed: instead of videos, users swipe through interactive content created by other people.
Meta has obtained a non-exclusive license for the Gizmo technology. The app was created by Atma Sciences Inc, a company founded in New York in 2024, with Gizmo being its only product. Developers from Atma Sciences, including CEO Josh Siegel and CTO Daniel Amitay, have joined Meta's Superintelligence Labs division.
Gizmo is one of several vibe-coding apps that have gained popularity over the past year. A similar platform, Wabi, raised $20 million in a Pre-Seed round at the end of 2025.
