Kazakhstan and Presight AI discussed cooperation in the field of AI infrastructure

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting with Thomas Promotedham, CEO of the international company Presight AI. The discussion covered cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure, implementation of Smart City projects, development of digital transport systems, and data storage and processing infrastructure.

Presight AI is part of the international G42 group and specializes in applied solutions in the field of artificial intelligence and big data analytics. With the company's participation, the Smart City project was implemented in Astana, and the national supercomputing infrastructure Alem.Cloud was created.

During the meeting, prospects for further implementation of digital solutions in the transport sector were outlined, as well as the development of intelligent infrastructure at the Astana International Airport. Attention was given to the opportunities for applying artificial intelligence technologies to improve the efficiency of urban management, safety, and service quality, as well as the development of domestic technological expertise and human resources.

Kazakhstan is moving to a new stage of digital transformation. In 2026, declared as the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, favorable conditions have been created in the country to attract long-term and high-tech investments. Investors have access to state support measures, tax and customs preferences, the special Altyn Visa regime is being implemented, and project support is provided on a "one-stop-shop" principle.

Presight AI is ready to expand its presence in Kazakhstan and implement new joint projects. The company will continue to develop cooperation in the field of applied artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and the implementation of technological solutions in key sectors of the economy.

As a result of the meeting, priority areas for further cooperation were identified.
