About Me
I am from Uzbekistan and have over 10 years of experience in the finance sector. In 2021, I received a Fulbright scholarship and completed my MBA at the Simon Business School of the University of Rochester. After graduating, I joined Datatruck, Inc., where I currently serve as co-founder.
The idea for Datatruck arose from personal experience dealing with inefficiencies in the US freight transportation sector. Small and medium-sized trucking companies still relied heavily on manual operations, spreadsheets, and paper processes. They manually prepared financial and management reports or didn't know how to do it at all, resulting in an average trucking company losing about $50,000 per year. Moreover, these companies were often unaware of these losses.
Together with my technical co-founders, we saw a clear opportunity to implement automation and provide real-time financial data transparency for such companies.

Team
After assembling our team, finding co-founders and advisors, we began searching for investors. At the 10th pitch, one of my friends believed in our idea even without an MVP and invested, which helped us raise $200,000 in an angel investment round.
At the start, we paid special attention to studying our customers — we spoke with trucking company owners, dispatchers, and drivers to better understand their problems. Then we launched a simple MVP, tested key hypotheses, and began attracting users through networking, the diaspora, direct contacts, industry events, and referrals.
The team formed around a mission: we looked for people who understood the industry, adapted quickly, and genuinely wanted to create a meaningful product. Our goal was to save money and time for each carrier and help them achieve financial literacy.
Our first engineers were versatile and ready for any challenges — each took on different roles, going beyond job descriptions.
Target Audience
Our key customers are small and medium-sized trucking companies in the US, managing between 5 and 200 trucks. Datatruck is a financial operating system for the transportation business that solves critical tasks: dispatching, billing, expense tracking, driver payroll, and real-time financial reporting.
Currently, more than 300 trucking companies across the country actively use our platform. Additionally, we have established partnerships with more than 100 industry players, including factoring companies, fuel and toll providers, freight brokers, and insurance agents. These data sources are integrated into our system, optimizing our clients' workflows.
Recently, we have started gaining strong momentum in the large fleet segment and now work with companies having between 300 and 1,000 trucks.

Incubation Programs
We participated in several accelerators and secured venture funding, including investments from funds supported by Microsoft and AWS. These programs provided us not only with capital but also with access to infrastructure, mentorship, and early partnerships.
Additionally, we received support from local startup ecosystems in cities such as Rochester and Chicago, which helped us scale in the early stages.
Challenges
One of the main difficulties was convincing traditional trucking companies to adopt new technologies. Many still use Excel and outdated systems, and we had to invest significant effort in user training and creating an intuitive product. Attracting the first 100 customers was particularly challenging, but once we reached that milestone, growth accelerated.
Another issue was finding strong engineers — competing with large tech companies made hiring difficult. We solved this by building a strong culture based on our mission and offering flexible remote roles to attract top talent.
Advice for early-stage founders: interact closely with your first users — they are your co-authors. Don't be afraid to pivot or redesign parts of your product. Feedback is more valuable than ego. If a client gives you feedback, it's a blessing because it means they are truly interested in your product.

Achievements
Our achievements:
— successful launch and commercialization of the product
— raising nearly $1 million in venture funding from Aloqa Ventures, IT Park Ventures, Domino Ventures, and Silkroad Innovation Hub as part of a Pre-Series A Bridge Round

Plans
By the end of the year, we plan to enter the Canadian market and scale in the premium segment. We also plan to launch new FinTech solutions and AI agents for workflow automation, triple our customer base, and deepen integrations with payment systems and GPS providers.
