K-TECH 2026 will bring together leaders of Kazakhstan's IT industry to discuss the future of technology.
On April 23, the annual event that has long become a benchmark for IT leaders in the country — K-TECH 2026 conference — will take place at the Hilton Almaty hotel. This year, its main theme sounds ambitious: Beyond AI — Intelligence Everywhere.
The organizer is the expert platform Kazakhstan Growth Forum. The team intends not just to talk about high-level concepts, but to thoroughly examine the most modern strategies, real-world cases, and working tools that deliver value today.
Two key drivers of the current agenda
According to Eldar Abdrasakov, Chairman of KGF, two key trends will dominate the stage this year.
The first is AI agents. They have long moved beyond the realm of futuristic toys. Today, these systems are capable of fully replacing human employees, and they are indeed doing so, right now.
The second phenomenon is vibe coding. This approach disrupts conventional notions of development: it allows virtually anyone, even someone who has never seen a single line of code in their life, to become a creator of digital products.
The main question is not "what," but "how"
However, even the most advanced tools alone do not provide any advantage. The key problem that conference participants intend to dissect thoroughly is this: how can organizations learn to apply these technologies in practice, rather than just admiring them from afar?
"AI works only when it is embedded in processes and managed as part of the business model," comments Eduard Kim, Director of the Data Management Department at JSC "KMF Bank." In his speech at K-TECH 2026, Eduard will discuss why most projects fail to deliver results and how to avoid this.
Best CIO and IT Project of 2026
As part of the business program, the KGF Awards will be presented in two key categories:
1. The Best CIO — for those who shape the digital landscape of the company and the industry.
2. The Best IT-Project — for teams that have implemented significant digital initiatives.
The application deadline is April 17. You can submit an application for the nomination via this link.
Solutions Ecosystem
In addition to plenary sessions, the program is divided into three parallel tracks so that each participant can build their own individual development path.
ENTERPRISE ECOSYSTEMS covers CEO Copilot, post-cloud solutions, and security issues in the era of DeepFake.
AI & DATA MASTERY focuses on generative AI in marketing, Data Fabric, and accessible tools for small and medium-sized businesses.
FUTURE WORKFLOWS is dedicated to automation in procurement and HR, the development of no-code approaches, and real-world cases of optimizing routine processes by more than 50%.
Special program formats include CXO-CLINICS, which explain complex topics simply through expert sessions with practitioners, workshops on vibe coding and practical creation of AI agents, and C-MENTORING with personal consultations from industry leaders, including Agis Konkabayeva from QazCode, Ilya Stekolnikov from Kolesa, and other experts.
Among the key speakers:
Eldar Abdrasakov from Kazakhstan Growth Forum, Kairat Bazarbekov from Centras Group, Asel Marchenko from the National Payment Corporation of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Agis Konkabayeva from Beeline Kazakhstan, Evgeny Pitolin from Heartland, Alexander Polorotov from Datanomix.pro, Aidos Bekov from PKB, Asset Akhmetov from Sergek Korkem telecom, Arman Suleimenov from nFactorial, Sanzhar Umaruly from DarynLab AI, Ivan Belokhvostikov from Cybenet AI, and Farukh Bakiyev from Contractor AWS community leader.
