IT Park Ventures increases the fund's capital to $30 million to develop the startup ecosystem in Uzbekistan
As part of the international event Global Tech Weekend Tashkent 2026, the IT Park Ventures fund announced an increase in its capital from $10 million to $30 million.
Previously, the fund's capital stood at $10 million, of which more than 80% has already been invested in technology startups and the development of the venture ecosystem. Additional funding will allow IT Park Ventures to increase the number of deals, expand its investment portfolio, and more actively support technology companies at the growth stage.
In connection with the growing number of funds working with early-stage startups in the Uzbek market, IT Park Ventures plans to strengthen its focus on Seed and Series A startups starting in 2026. The main attention will be paid to scalable technology projects with high growth potential and the ability to enter international markets.
Additionally, under the updated investment strategy, the fund will be able to consider deals with an investment check of up to $3 million.
In accordance with state initiatives to develop the venture ecosystem, by 2030, Uzbekistan plans to increase the number of startup projects to 5,000, the volume of attracted venture investments to $2 billion, and create 25 startups valued at more than $100 million.
As part of state initiatives, a four-stage startup support system is also planned — from idea formation and product development to launch, scaling, and entering international markets.
IT Park Ventures is also continuing to accept applications until May 20 for PITCH TO INVEST: OPEN DAY — a format of private pitch sessions for Seed and Series A startups, where founders can present their projects directly to the fund's investment team and gain the opportunity for further investment support.
