IT Park Uzbekistan and TusPark discussed the development of technological cooperation

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Director for Strategic Development Makhlia Muksinova, held negotiations with a delegation from the Chinese company TusPark Jiangsu Innovation Research Institute, one of China’s largest operators of innovation infrastructure. The meeting took place within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF), which is currently being held in the capital of Uzbekistan.

The Chinese side was represented at the negotiations by Hao Tang, Managing Director of TusPark Jiangsu Innovation Research Institute. The participants discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of innovation, investment, artificial intelligence, and the development of technological ecosystems.

Particular attention at the meeting was paid to supporting startups and technology companies in both countries. The parties considered the possibility of creating support mechanisms to help Uzbek startups enter the Chinese market, as well as assisting Chinese startups and technology companies in launching projects in Uzbekistan. Additionally, prospects for investment cooperation and the development of ties between the innovation ecosystems of the two countries were discussed.

A separate topic of the negotiations was cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, research and development, as well as the implementation of promising technologies.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue on implementing joint initiatives aimed at supporting innovation, attracting investment, and creating new opportunities for technology companies in Uzbekistan and China.

Cooperation with TusPark Jiangsu Innovation Research Institute will allow IT Park Uzbekistan to strengthen ties with one of China’s largest innovation ecosystems, expand opportunities for Uzbek startups to enter international markets, and attract new investments into the country’s technology sector. Furthermore, the partnership will create additional conditions for implementing joint projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, research and development, and semiconductor technologies.
