IT Park Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Digital Technologies have updated the terms of the Zero Risk program to support technology companies. Following the changes, the program has been renamed Incentives.
The main goal of the update is to expand support for IT companies focused on exporting digital services and to stimulate the creation of new jobs.
One of the key changes is the reduction of participation requirements. Previously, companies were required to create a minimum of 20 jobs, but now the threshold has been lowered to 10 employees.
Program participants will be able to receive office space at a rate of up to 7 square meters per employee, IT equipment with the option to purchase it later, as well as compensation for part of the expenses.
Under Incentives, companies will be able to receive subsidies amounting to 10–15% of the payroll fund. When hiring women and people with disabilities, a fixed compensation of 15% is provided.
The program also covers reimbursement of expenses for personnel recruitment and training. The total support amount can reach up to $2000 per job or up to 3% of export revenue.
Payouts will be made after confirming employee employment for 12 months. According to IT Park Uzbekistan, the new mechanism aims to create sustainable jobs and develop Uzbekistan's export-oriented IT sector.
